The BIRS workshop provided me with new ideas, new contacts, and possibly new collaborations. I posed an open question at my talk and I was able to discuss it later, in the virtual coffee-breaks and slack channels. I think that I will be able to make some progress thanks to the interactions originated at the workshop. I was a bit skeptical due to the remote workshop format, but it went quite smoothly and it was still possible to have interesting discussions.
