Thanks to BIRS and the organizers for putting together a truly stimulating workshop on gravitational emergence. I appreciated that workshop reflected the wide variety of approaches and techniques that are being brought to bear on the problem. I've been working on some of the topics such as modular flow and infalling observers. The workshop gave me a new perspective on these methods and how they can be applied. I especially appreciated that the workshop had speakers and participants at all career stages. I'm glad that active young researchers were given a forum for presenting their work.
