This is a presentation of the research projects on which the various groups will be working during the workshop. The presentations will describe the questions which will be investigate, the history of the problems, and the approaches that will be taken by the groups to solve them.

Two research projects will be described. The first one deals with the finite nuclear dimension of \"(e}tale groupoids while the the second one focuses on the connections between ample groupoid C*-algebras, topological full groups and inverse semigroups. The presentations will describe the history of the problems, a few questions the group intends to investigate, and possible approaches to solve them.

5-day workshop participants are welcome to use BIRS facilities (BIRS Coffee Lounge, TCPL and Reading Room) until 3 pm on Friday, although participants are still required to checkout of the guest rooms by 12 noon.
