Participant Testimonials
It has been a great pleasure to attend the BIRS Workshop on Theoretical and Applied Aspects for Nonlocal Models. I found the attendance to this workshop both productive and enjoyable, even though I was only able to attend the first part of the workshop due to the need to attend another meeting during the latter part of the week. Both the logistics and the scientific content of the workshop were excellent, and the workshop environment facilitated effective and enriching interactions between participants. As a consequence of my attendance to this workshop, I initiated a collaboration with a colleague on a new research direction on nonlocal modeling. Additionally, the workshop allowed me to reconnect with colleagues; in particular, I reconnected with a colleague with whom I had previously collaborated with, and we jointly planned on future research visits to continue the previous line of research.
