Banff meetings are among those I am always eager to attend, and this workshop is no exception: I found the workshop program scientifically stimulating and exciting. While the topic of the workshop is focused on reaction-diffusion systems, its connections with various math branches (PDE, dynamical system, math biology, probability, spectral theory, etc) are broad and deep. The workshop organizers also invited a group of talented young mathematicians to present their work, mixing with the senior speakers. This provides an excellent opportunity to know each other's work, including younger people. Finally, I believe that most, if not all, participants would share the same feeling that how much we have missed the in-person meetings at Banff.
