It was a great pleasure to attend the meeting on Mathematics and Statistics of Genomic Epidemiology. The presentations were of very high quality. I liked the informal tone and the effort of the researchers to take the time to go through methods, models and formulas. The discussions on methodological limitations and difficulties were very interesting. I was writing a research project, and the presentations allowed me to update myself on several aspects.
