The BIRS Workshop on Building Networks: Women in Complex and Nonlinear Systems, was one of the best workshops that I have ever attended. The group of organizers and participants made the experience wonderful across many aspects. I was able to join a small group of women working on various projects but using our individual expertise to develop a problem that encompasses all of our expertise. I look forward to continued connection with everyone that attended this workshop. I also learned many new topics that may be applicable to my current research area. I hope to implement some of these ideas in the near future.
